[VIDEO] WATCH THE FIRST EDITION OF THE MADE IN CAMEROON MUSIC FESTIVAL

Hello people..

History was made over the weekend in MD. The First edition of the Made in Cameroon Music Festival took place at the Filmore Silver Spring.  The brain child of Ebangha Njang, Cofounder of Kreef Entertainment and editor of Sa Majeste Magazine, the Made in Cameroon Music Festival brought together for the first time on stage a group of Cameroonian artists from Cameroon in the US of A.

Mr Leo, Stanley Enow, Minks and Magasco brought down the house in the sold out venue!

There was soo much energy on that stage. The show was hosted by Lenora Tee & Charlene who came all the way from Europe!! More jist from the show..Lenora tee got engaged on the stage…OK that show be interesting oh!

What are some of the challenges you faced starting up and how did you overcome them?
There were not many challenges though. Just one or two things & I’ll just shrug them off. But one that got me pissed off most of the time was the fact that many people in the industry didn’t take us and our ideas seriously because we are women.  Plus we live in the United States and we “don’t know” the struggles in Cameroon. They forget we grew up in Cameroon and always visit. It doesn’t matter where we are or what we are,  what matters is our passion and hope for a better Cameroon.
About overcoming it, we pretty much ignored all the side comments and negativity and focused on what we believe we can do. Thank God it’s been a great journey so far!

Thumbs up to Ebangha Njang and team who put together this event. I have to say that the Cameroon Music Industry has a leader in this lady. She pioneered the first music event organized by a Cameroonian in the US of A.

Looking forward to more Camer music events. It’s wrap people. Keep reppin’ 237
