Cassie & Miles are an interesting blend of SAWA and graffi cultures. The traditional wedding took place a few months ago in Bamenda.
When I asked Cassandra about the highlights of her trad wedding…Her response “Na so Banso girl dem cheap? There was no negotiation oh. They brought everything my family asked for and some. .”. In the Nso culture (Cassie is half Nso), the first girl is a child of her mother’s family…so you know who took the “bride price” 🙂

THE CAKE
The traditional wedding cake by Mrs Bridget Fobuzie was just wow with a big gold calabash on the top!
The second cake had a calabash, kolanuts and our signature toghu print. Love the simplicity and details!
A BRIDAL PARTY OF EXCELLENCE
The couple dressed to represent their cultures. Miles and his guys represented his Barombi culture with the Sanja & shirt look. Cassandra and her girls repped graffi all the way! Loved the details on Cassie’s long toghu dress designed by Shirrih Couture. The ladies outfits and men’s caps and scarfs were made with Excellence fabric from VoKKall. The wedding party swag was definitely lit.
