Hello people..Today’s spotlight is on the multi talented Gospel Artist…LIA
LUM IRINE ASANJI aka LIA a Canadian- Cameroonian gospel artist, songwriter and author based in Toronto is set to release her debut album “ARISE” this September
The 9 track album draws inspiration from Isaiah 60:1. ARISE has a combination of high praise and worship. It highlights the joy, strength and determination to conquer and rise above challenges with faith drawn from the Word of God as personally experienced by the singer.
LIA uses snippets of some African languages and various rhythms, reggae, jazz, R&B, ballad, soul and Mo-town to bring across her message in a very unique style. Her debut single “Trinity” released in Spring 2016 earned her a nomination in the Best Gospel Artist category at the Kilimanjaro Music Awards Toronto 2016.
One year later, the multi-talented and self-motivated mother of two has upped her game to a 9 track album. The album will be launched on September 2nd 2017 in Toronto.
