A few weeks ago me and a few friends took a road trip to Bamena in the western region of Cameroon. It was my first time to visit and all I can say in a nutshell is “I was impressed”.
Bamena is located in the Nde division 10 km from Bangangte.. There is a legend about how this community started that makes the “Goat” a very important symbol in their tradition and culture. A goat is always required for special occasions e.g. marriage, deaths, births etc…
There are many hidden gems in the West and we stayed in one of them.
