Hello people…Hope you started the week on  bright note. Our focus on photography continues with a colourful traditional wedding celebration

#PAULSSHOOTINGSTAR – The Exquisite Traditional Wedding celebration of  Mr. & Mrs. Che Niba

Groom: Paul Che Niba

Bride:  Star Tangyie

The bride and groom both hail from Bafut in the North West Region of Cameroon. Their rich culture was elegantly displayed through out the traditional wedding celebration.

HOW THEY MET

Bride and groom met at grooms graduation party in 2012. Groom later on moved to MD to take care of his now late mom. In 2014 they both started talking and decided to start dating. Most of their dates were held in the library as Star the bride was preparing for her NCLEX exams. A year later, they welcomed their son Pavel, and the rest is history.

WEDDING DECOR

The wedding was planned and decorated by Asheri’s event planning and design services..CEO Eurykah Fon Ndumu is a sucker for details and it is very evident in the “toghu” themed decor.

WEDDING CELEBRATION HIGHLIGHTS

Traditional wedding celebrations have one thing in common..Palm wine. It is used to seal the deal. Let’s just say in some cultures when palm wine is served from the family pot passed down by the ancestors, the same rites cannot be performed for the same girl from that same port.

The bride’s family hands over the cup of palm wine to her. She looks for her husband who drinks from the cup after she does and that pretty much seals the deal. All the details before and after that are just additions to the ceremony and vary from one culture to the next.
