The script is based on an adaptable Dear Diary fiction series written by the producer Dorothy Diamond. Dorothy is a longtime fiction Blogger whose stories have been published by renowned African literary site Brittle Paper and her Blog Purfect Escape.  The story was tactfully scripted and directed by the CEO of Ninety One Productions Ugonna Nwachukwu whose extensive knowledge and expertise bring the story to life. Dorothy Diamond’s Film unflinchingly depicts the brutal reality of society. The lies, fakes and facades that we all put up  to conform with society’s expectations. The name CURTAINS is a metaphor. CURTAINS are highly visual in the movie creating the reality of its very existence to cover our privacy, pain and joy. The twist and turns of love, lust, betrayal and destruction of a person can be elaborately seen from start to finish. The movie depicts that there is no directive on how to resolve an issue and that every human being deals with situations and circumstances differently. Some survive and learn from the situation while others crumble under the pressure. The characters in CURTAINS represent these people in their various situations.
